Common Language Studio Policy

At Common Language, we believe movement is more powerful when it’s shared in a space built on trust, respect, and joy. Our studio is more than a place to sweat—it’s a community.

Our Promise

We are committed to creating an environment where everyone feels motivated, supported, and inspired. 

Booking & Attendance

We recommend booking your classes in advance—our spots are limited and tend to fill quickly. Each reservation uses one class credit, and your spot is held just for you.

Arrival & Late Policy

Please arrive at least 5 minutes before class so you can check in and settle in. To keep everyone safe and in flow, we’re unable to allow late entry once class begins. If the door is locked, it simply means class is already underway.

Cancellation Policy

  • We totally understand—life happens! To keep things fair for everyone (including those on the waitlist), we have a 24-hour cancellation policy:

    • Cancel 24+ hours before class → no charge 

    • Cancel within 24 hours → $10 late cancel fee + loss of credit 

    • No-show → $10 fee + loss of class credit 

    • Privates are non-refundable + need to be canceled 24 hours in advance

  • If something unexpected comes up, just send us an email—we’ll always do our best to support you.

  • Classes can be cancelled through your online account. In the case of an emergency or illness, please email us at commonlanguagestudio@gmail.com—we’ll do our best to accommodate you when possible.

  • Occasionally, we may need to adjust the schedule due to low enrollment, instructor availability, or unexpected circumstances.

  • If that happens, we’ll notify you as early as possible—and of course, you’ll never be charged for a class we cancel.

Waitlist

Joining the waitlist is always a great idea—classes move!

  • If a spot opens, you’ll be automatically added and notified by email 

  • Once you’re in, standard cancellation policies apply 

If your plans change, be sure to remove yourself from the class in time to avoid fees.

Advanced Pre-Booking

Want the first pick of classes? Our advanced pre-booking option lets you reserve your spot before the schedule opens to the public. Each reservation uses one class credit, and standard cancellation policies apply.

Refund Policy

For unused retail purchases:

  • Full refund within 7 days 

  • Store credit up to 30 days 

Class credits are valid for one year and can be used at any time. All class credits are non-refundable.
